Our charitable purpose
The Foundation’s work encompasses basic humanitarian services, support for community organizations, educational facilities for economically disadvantaged children and youth, and scholarships for post-secondary education.
We combine grants to charitable organizations with active involvement in the development and oversight of educational initiatives. Our three areas of work bring that purpose into focus: Education, Homeless/Hospice & Addictions, and Grassroots Programs.
Governance and leadership
The Foundation’s board comprises Michael Steele, Stacey Steele and David Dozzo. Our leadership page distinguishes these directors from our technical team and professional adviser.
Due diligence, governance, corporate discipline and ongoing management guide how we select causes and support the work. We do not accept unsolicited grant applications.
