The Steele Family Foundation WISE [EARN TO LEARN]® April 3rd, 2025 Thank You for Your Generous Support! Dear Esteemed Donor, On behalf of the Steele Family Foundation, we want to thank you sincerely for your remarkable generosity toward St. Xavier’s Academy in Mathigiri, Tamil Nadu. Over the last couple years, your donations have made an incredible difference, helping this school grow and reach more children than ever before. During The Steele Family Foundation's last visit to India in 2019, we proudly completed the school’s first floor and a new playground. With your initial support, we were able to purchase the first school bus, which provided a safe and reliable way for students to travel to and from school. Fast-forward to today, and we’re thrilled to share that the school has expanded significantly. The second level is now fully equipped, and just this year, thanks to your continued generosity, we acquired a second bus to accommodate even more students following our recent expansion. St. Xavier’s can now serve 550 students—nearly double its initial capacity—and offer better resources for learning and personal growth. Your generosity has been extremely beneficial in making these developments possible, helping us provide a welcoming, safe, and enriching environment for every child at St. Xavier’s. Each new classroom, activity space, and resource has now become a place where students can explore their potential, discover new interests, and gain confidence for their very own future. 2018 2025 1

The Steele Family Foundation WISE [EARN TO LEARN]® About St. Xavier's Academy From kindergarten through Grade eight, St. Xavier's Academy offers children an integrated and inclusive education that equips them for success. Under the careful direction of Father S. Perianayagam, the school has evolved from a place of education to a loving atmosphere where kids are urged to become confident, assume responsibility, and use their imagination! The school’s motto, “CARE”—Commitment to Learning, Accepting Responsibility, Respect for others and the environment, and striving for Excellence—guides its work with students and the community. Alongside academics, St. Xavier’s offers extracurricular clubs like the Eco-Warriors Club, Music Club, and Robotics & AI Club. These programs have now given these students a chance to explore interests beyond their studies, supporting a holistic education. Transportation has also greatly improved. The images below capture this progress: the first row shows milestones from 2019, including our first bus, and the last row highlights recent achievements, with the addition of the second bus this year. Looking Ahead to 2025/2026 As St. Xavier’s Academy continues to grow, we have ambitious plans to complete the top level 3 of the school building by 2025/2026. This expansion will create additional space, allowing us to welcome 150 more students. By late 2026, the school will be able to accommodate about 700 children, ensuring we can provide a comfortable & engaging atmosphere for even more youth. Due to growing popularity in the broader Nadu–Hosur region, the school is also in need of an additional bus to support rising enrolment. As we prepare for the third-floor expansion and aim to welcome more students, having this bus will be essential to safely accommodate daily transportation needs. 2

A Broader Vision for Education - The WISE Scholarship Program™ At the Steele Family Foundation, we are committed to supporting students’ journeys toward brighter futures, not only at St. Xavier’s Academy but also through our WISE Scholarship Program™ (World Impact Scholarship & Education). Like St. Xavier’s, the WISE program seeks to empower ‘Stranded Superstar’ students by providing them with resources, mentorship, and opportunities to reach their full potential. Through WISE, we aim to support students as they build life skills, gain valuable experiences, and prepare to become leaders in their communities. Our unique 100-point “Earn to Learn” program spans four years (ages 14–18) and uses a balanced point system based on Academic Grades, Extracurriculars, Social & Non-Formal experiences, as well as reference letters and a final essay. Together, these elements determine each student’s points—and the financial support they earn. Beyond the “Earn to Learn” phase, we provide lifelong support with mentorship, counselling, job placements, and AI-driven assessments to help ‘Stranded Superstars’ succeed in higher education and their careers. The Steele Family Foundation developed this program to give ‘Superstars’ the resources they need to become socially responsible global citizens.
