Tracks achievement over four years
Tracks student achievement across academic performance, extracurricular activities and non-formal education.
Technology supporting the program
The WISE Portal supports participant development, verified achievement and program oversight throughout WISE’s four-year high-school framework. It brings activity records, assessments, reflections and guidance together to support a fuller understanding of each participant over time.

The role of the WISE Portal
SFF’s scholarship program is implemented in part using the WISE Portal. The WISE Portal is an online program that:
Tracks student achievement across academic performance, extracurricular activities and non-formal education.
Employs a structured, merit-based system in which students exceeding a threshold score become eligible for post-secondary scholarships.
Supports long-term personal development through career exploration and guidance.
Offers reporting, oversight tools and standardised program administration.
The portal helps strengthen consistency, visibility, and accountability across the WISE Scholarship Program™ while supporting long-term participant development.
AI-enhanced, human-led
Professor WISE is the program’s AI guidance engine. It works alongside dedicated Senior Scholarship Administrators to help identify patterns in participant development, recommend next steps and support personalised guidance.
Assessments, recorded activities, reflections and engagement history contribute to an evolving participant profile. SSAs bring human judgment, mentorship and accountability to that information, helping participants understand their strengths and work through challenges.

Participant development
The WISE platform connects day-to-day participation with longer-term planning. Its capabilities bring together personal insight, recorded experiences, career exploration and preparation for the next stage of education or work.

Assessments and reflections help build an evolving picture of learning preferences, motivation, interests and development.
Record partner-coordinated experiences, including job shadowing, internships, apprenticeships and mentorship placements, alongside reflections and achievements.
Explore career options and post-secondary pathways, access micro-learning and certificates, and prepare resumes, applications and interview skills.
Follow academic progress, extracurricular and community activities, personal goals and Earn to Learn progress within one program environment.
Real-world opportunities are coordinated through program relationships; the Portal supports their documentation and the participant’s preparation.
Program oversight
The Portal supports verified documentation, oversight, reporting and long-term development through WISE’s Earn to Learn framework. It helps strengthen consistency, accountability and program visibility across partnership environments.
By bringing participant records and support activity together, the platform helps SSAs monitor engagement, recognise patterns and follow up when additional guidance is needed. It also supports standardised program administration across the people and organisations involved in delivery.
A recorded history of activities, achievements, reflections and participant development.
Information that helps administrators understand engagement and identify where follow-up is needed.
Shared processes supporting reporting, verification and long-term program coordination.
Continuing development
As the platform continues to evolve, it is being shaped to support participants through high school, post-secondary transition and future adulthood, with stronger personalization, planning tools and opportunity matching.
The long-term goal is to help participants leave high school with a clearer understanding of their strengths and direction, supported by a plan built from years of documented development rather than a single application.
The WISE website provides the fuller picture of platform capabilities, technology development and future direction.
