Children’s Day Celebration at St. Xavier’s Academy, India
St. Xavier’s Academy in India hosted a Children’s Day celebration that brought together more than 450 children from seven parishes across the Hosur Vicariate. The event focused on joy, inclusion, and community. Students took part in friendly competitions, cultural performances, and a full prize distribution. Every child and guest received a meal, which created a welcoming environment for all families who attended.
St. Xavier’s Academy is part of the Sacred Trust Project, a long-term international education initiative supported by The Steele Family Foundation. The project began in 2013 when the Missionaries of Charity introduced the vision to the Steele family. After visiting India in 2014, the Foundation added the school to its charitable purpose under the Education Pillar. The goal is simple, to build strong elementary education opportunities for children who lack access.
Thank you to Fr. Peri and the full Sacred Trust team for their ongoing commitment, and thank you to the donors who continue to support this work. Your support is helping children gain access to education and a stronger foundation for their future.
