Good Shepherd Ministries

Since 1963, Good Shepherd Ministries has served Toronto’s homeless (Good Shepherd Centre, Barrett House, St. Joseph’s Residence).

The Centre provides hot meals (1200 daily), shelter for adult men (91 beds), clothing, a daily drop-in, and medical care. It also helps homeless men with housing and addiction recovery. Good Shepherd helps homeless Veterans with the Royal Canadian Legion and Veterans Affairs Canada. 

Good Shepherd Ministries helps anyone in need, for free. Compassion, trust, acceptance, and respect are emphasised.

Covenant House

Covenant House is the largest agency in Canada serving youth who are homeless, trafficked or at risk. Covenant House is inclusive, intentional and impactful.

As a leader in their sector, they advocate so that all youth can have lives free from homelessness and trafficking.

Their donors allow them to meet the emerging needs of our youth and accelerate their work. Their comprehensive youth-driven programming is centred on unconditional love, absolute respect and relentless engagement.

Society of St. Vincent de Paul

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is dedicated to feeding, clothing, housing and healing individuals and families in their community who have nowhere else to turn for help. As important, SVdP provides meaningful opportunities for volunteers to serve their neighbours in need with love and compassion.

They provide help for people’s physical, mental, and spiritual needs. By doing this with care and respect, they show them that they matter and they are children of God.
